Company portrait
The unique MR diagnostic incubator system nomag®IC has been produced since 2003 and is used in many clinics worldwide. The headquarters of LMT Medical Systems GmbH is in the Hanseatic city of Lübeck. Customers in the USA are taken care of by a subsidiary company founded especially for this purpose.
From the beginning, the managing director has been Torsten Lönneker-Lammers, a graduate engineer. Since 2014, Geratherm Medical AG from Geschwenda/Thuringia has been a majority shareholder.
The Lübeck-based company will continue to expand in the coming years. At present, around 20 qualified employees take care of development, production and international sales. The LMT Medical Systems GmbH is constantly looking for qualified personnel with a technical background.
Cooperation with university and technical college
Research and development play a major role in the future-oriented company. The company site is strategically well located in the immediate vicinity of the University of Lübeck and the Technical University of Lübeck. This results in constant new opportunities for cooperation.
The Lübeck-based medical technology specialists have been cooperating with major companies such as Siemens and Philips for many years. The patented MR Diagnostic Incubator System is compatible with MRI devices from GE, Philips and Siemens.
