Hospital directors discuss the future of hospitals as guests of MEDICA team

'Welcome' was the motto on 11 April in the large meeting room at Messe Düsseldorf. The board of the Association of Hospital Directors Germany (VKD) met for its board meeting and was a guest of the MEDICA team, whose program elements also include the German Hospital Congress, co-organized by the VKD.

Wolfram Diener (President & CEO of Messe Düsseldorf) and Michael Degen (Executive Director of Messe Düsseldorf) did not miss the opportunity to personally greet the board members. In his opening lecture, Mr. Degen emphasized how important close exchange with clinic managers is right now – in view of hospital reform, digitalization, the shortage of skilled workers and economic pressure.

With the autumn trade fair season in mind, he summed it up as follows: 'MEDICA 2025 – with the German Hospital Congress as a strong partner – will once again be a platform for innovative solutions, cross-industry dialogue and forward-looking impulses from 17 to 20 November. Under the campaign motto 'Meet Health. Future. People.', we are bringing together decision-makers from the healthcare industry to help shape tomorrow's medical care.
