Meet'n'See could sum up the motto of Robert and his colleague Therese. The two are at MEDICA to see products from the laboratory sector, but also to meet with their suppliers.
"This is my third day here," reports Sam Teta. The International Development Manager has many appointments at the show: "Our customers are here, so I am too."
The four Germans are at MEDICA as part of their training. "We are budding medical technicians," says Philip, who is particularly taken with implants. "I'm particularly interested in this topic. So I mainly want to question exhibitors here and learn new things."
Hawa is on the road with her colleagues at MEDICA. "We're on a company trip, so to speak." The practice team is here today looking around for new or potentially interesting devices that they could use in their daily work. They have just arrived, but they are also prepared: "We have a few exhibitors on our list," Hawa reveals.
For Daniel, this is his fourth time at the trade show. After the long pandemic break, the medical technology student at the FH Südwestfalen is happy to be able to talk to exhibitors again. A few lectures are also on his list.
"It's not as busy as I would have thought," says Vincent Suttorp. "But that's pretty good," he adds. It gives people a chance to look around, he says. "MEDICA is a good way to get an overview of the market and to network." So far, however, the Dutchman has only been in two halls. "So I still have a long day ahead of me."
"We sell medical products and are looking to see if there are any interesting products here for the Taiwanese market," Bruce relates. The focus for him and his companion, he says, is particularly on laboratory equipment in Halls 1 and 3. "There are a lot of PoC systems," he notes. "That's less interesting to us. But in general, a lot has changed since I last visited four years ago."
This time, Ali and Jannik are only in the halls as visitors. The two work in sales and marketing respectively and, according to Ali, are out and about today "to see what the other companies are doing and where the trends are."
Dorina (left) and Nelly had a lot of fun at MEDICA. In addition to some meetings, the duo and their colleague are said to be looking for new products. "We also want to find potential new partner companies here," says Nelly. "But it's also a kind of team-building activity," adds Dorina.
This is the first time Harsh and Kiran have been to Düsseldorf. "Mesmerizing. Super. Great organization," Harsh then goes on to describe their first impressions of MEDICA. "The only thing I can criticize is the temperatures. It's too cold for us," says Kiran with a twinkle in his eye.
