MEDICA MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE (MMSC) will take place for the 7th time as part of MEDICA from 20 to 21 November 2019 in Düsseldorf. The conference brings together internationally renowned sports physicians, sports scientists, visionaries, physiotherapists, sports technologies and experts for an interdisciplinary dialogue on innovative approaches in prevention, regeneration and rehabilitation in top-class sports and health sports.
The agenda includes the latest findings for evidence-based diagnostics in top-class sport, personalisation in top-class sport (personalised training programmes, avoidance of overload, regeneration), corporate fitness, best practice for health sports and digital innovations in the sports and health sector.
Cooperation partners are DGSP, DVS, Exercise is Medicine (American College of Sports Medicine), the Federation Internationale du Medicine du Sport (FIMS), European Federation of Sports Medicine Associations (EFSMA), Exercise is Medicine Europe (EiME), Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI), WISS (BISP), European Platform on Sports Innovation (epsi) and WT | Wearable Technologies.
It is intended to have the MMSC accredited with 10 CME points, category A, by the AEKNO (Aerztekammer Nordrhein).

Course "Sport medical lactate and performance diagnostics"
Together with the Sportärztebund Nordrhein e.V. (Sport medicine association Northrhine) the course "Sports medical lactate and performance diagnostics" is offered for sport physicians and sport scientists (medical license and additional title sport medicine required). The course language is German.
The two-day MEDICA MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE ticket is included in the course fees. The course is divided into a theory module, which takes place on Thursday, 21 November at the MEDICA MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE and the two practice modules on 23 November and 24 November at the Sporthochschule Köln (German Sports University Cologne).
Attendees will receive the sport medical lactate performance diagnostics certificate by DGSP (German Society for Sports Medicine and Prevention).
